City says 35 and state firm on 36

August 1 midnight, all speed cameras will be 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days. NYS is firm the speed cameras will be in position for 3 years starting August 1. However, NYC insisted 35 months to be fair and NYC Dept of Transportation will see to it to be fair to all drivers.

That's 3 long years the cameras will remain operative as the Governor agreed to the bill.
