Chase on Meadowbrook State Parkway to east LI

Police are reporting a pursuit of vehicle on Meadowbrook State Parkway southbound to Jones Beach with driver and passenger. Later, the driver pushed out the passenger and took off toward eastbound. The pursuit continues. Now reporting the driver on Southern State Parkway taking the Exit 28 south after police vehicles were seen coming from opposite direction. The driver stopped the vehicle and took off on foot. Police are searching around.
