Chase leads to one arrest in Bellerose

Police reported a driver refused to pull over from Cross Island Parkway northbound Exit at Jamaica Avenue. It happened around 2:30pm. A brief chase ensured and shortly the driver was taken into custody. A passenger escaped and was last seen on Jamaica Avenue. Ongoing investigation.
