Cause of fire near LIRR in Jamaica disclosed

FDNY reported lithium-ion battery that was not properly disposed caused the fifth alarm fire at the recycle plant in Jamaica. The fire was placed under control fully around 9am Saturday. Firefighters are still on the scene to ensure all is well until Sunday.
