Carjacking incident on Jericho Turnpike in Bellerose

The NCPD is on Jericho Turnpike reporting a carjacking incident. This is by the Cross Island Parkway Exit in Bellerose. Reported a driver of a 2021 model Mercedes Benz was being followed from the parkway to the exit ramp when two suspects approached wearing monkey masks and pushed out the victim.

EMS attended to the victim who is not injured but emotionally shaken.

Police are now in the area searching for the suspects who took off toward eastbound Jericho Turnpike to Floral Park route.

So far no arrests.
