Carjacking in Maspeth

Police reported a victim was carjacked on Eliot Ave and Metropolitan Ave today around 7am. The driver was heading to work when the suspect approached with a weapon. Then took off with the vehicle toward Metropolitan Avenue eastbound with the Nissan Rogue, white with CT plates.

The victim refused medical attention.

Ongoing investigation.
