Car struck by LIRR on the tracks near Bethpage

It happened around 7am on Tuesday, October 24 when a Uber driver became struck on the tracks due to mechanical problems. Unable to move the Honda, the Uber driver abandoned the vehicle on tracks and train hit it. No one else was inside the vehicle and the car was damaged without fire. There were delays for morning rush hour. The train was coming from Farmingdale east to Hicksville Station.
