Car fire with one dead in Nassau County

The NCPD reports a fully involved car fire with one dead in Nassau County. This is on Ocean Parkway eastbound in Wantagh.

Police has all lanes closed after a witness reported the vehicle lost control on the parkway into the woods. EMS reported no one else was inside the vehicle except the driver.

The medical examiner is working on the scene to transport the body to conduct autopsy.

ESU is working on the scene to clear the area.
