Car crash stickups on the rise in Nassau County

The NCPD reported of a new crime, car crash stickups in Nassau County. Reported suspects deliberately hit any vehicle from behind after analyzing who is inside the vehicle for targeting easy victims. Afterward both gets out of the vehicle where suspects argue. Two victims were assaulted in separate incidents. One victim was robbed. Most of the incidents reported on Hempstead Turnpike and Sunrise Highway. The suspects are using out of town temporary plates. Ongoing investigation.
