Camp out and break into vehicles reported at Glen Oaks

Police reported multiple vehicle break-ins around the public park on 260th Street and 74th Avenue in Glen Oaks at the span of 10 days. All the incidents are reported in the morning when residents attend to their vehicles when items went missing. Police reported public parks are closed at 9pm but cannot stop people walking on the city sidewalks at anytime. One resident repeatedly saw people in the park after midnight and then started walking around after police were called. Then police left only to come back in the early morning reporting thefts in vehicles.
