By end of 2018 all NYPD to have body camera

Mayor di Blasio announced all NYPD officers and detectives on patrol will have body cameras by the end of 2018 instead of 2019. The mayor's office reported it will cost $5.9 million in 2018, $12 million in 2009 and $9.5 million in 2020.
