Buzz in first over metal detectors for NYC schools

All NYC public elementary schools will have buzz in first for visitors and no unlocked doors for entry.

All schools will have video equipped doorbells starting May and will complete by next year in NYC.

However, there won't be any metal detectors for check-ins after an approved entry. Not even frisk due to NYC's strict law on discrimination.

This will cost the taxpayers $78 million not including violence interrupters and mentors to help with kids coping with violence backgrounds over school safety agents.

Already facing the pressure from certain activities and parents since the doors are not monitored during students entry in the morning and exit in the afternoon to go home.
