Bus time arrived for Q46 five years later

In 2013, then local politicians fron northeast Queens including Mark Weprin, Tony Avella and others submitted a letter to MTA to have bus time on Q46.

The real time bus tracking is part of NYC's various routes and Q46 was not on the list.

Forward 2018 in November, the bus time was reported at the corner of Union Turnpike and Springfield Blvd in Bayside.

As of December 2018, more than 1,000 stations has time compared to just Q50 bus route in Queens in 2013.

The program was launched in January 2013 in Staten Island and has not been beneficial to riders due to mobile app usage.

Even worse, the city doesn't maintain certain services at the bus stops but outsource contracts to private companies. For the app, here is the link, http://web.mta.info/nyct/service/BusTimeAppJune2015.htm
