Bullets in Astoria and dead body in LIC

Just now police are on Vernon Blvd reporting a dead body found floating in the water. This is by Broadway in Long Island City.

Divers are working to recover the body.

Earlier this morning around 3:30am, multiple shots were fired in Astoria. This is on 21st Street near 41st Avenue in Astoria.

ESU recovered shell casings. Detectives are checking for bullet victims.

Both incidents are under investigation.
