Buh buh bye to flatso on Jamaica Avenue

A new announcement was made for Jamaica Avenue after the neighborhood of 230 blocks was rezoned for anything that goes with Babylon like towers. This means flat low rise commercial buildings are high in demand for developers to buy especially on Jamaica Avenue retail zone. Last October, the city announced rezoning with permits to developers to build almost 12,000 apartments. Before the zoning was restricted to low rise commercial and retail stores soon to be a memory. The first project announced is 164-02 Jamaica Avenue will be kaput to make way for 285 apartments filed with the NYC building dept. Vaya Development will oversee the project. The next project is the Archer Avenue train station which will overhaul all around costing billions. Now read this, no more car parking lots to be assigned but bike spaces which soon to be reserved to travel around.

Ohhhh nice. Peddle time people. Just peddle more.

Its all part of affordable housing agenda where the average rent will be around $3,000 plus heat, hot water, electric and so much more to live well in NYC.
