Brooklyn man arrested for the JFK heist as the second suspect

Police arrested baggage handler, Quincy Thorpe, 40 who was working with Delta Airlines has been arrested at his home for the $300,000 heist at JFK.

The incident was reported on Tuesday, September 24 at the JFK.

The second suspect, Emmanuel Okon, 33 of Brooklyn has been taken into custody as the second suspect on September 30.

Thorpe was arrested on September 26.

The Port Authority reported that Okon is not an employee with the airport.

There were 8 bags of money as cash shipment to head to Florida when they were stolen in Miami and alerted authorities.

Authorities are working to recover the money.
