Brooklyn is in the play for that casino license

The NYC Planning Commission has approved a proposal for a new casino and entertainment lot as part of the Coney Island revitalization project. This plan will move to the City Council for a hearing. Once a final vote is approved in favor but unlikely since most are brought by the Flushing side of Queens where all are optimistic. Securing one of only three downstate casino licenses from the NYS Gaming Facility Location Board, which is reviewing a dozen competing proposals, will have a final decision expected in December.

Another one aiming for the license is the Hudson Yards by Wynn Casino.

This announcement came after a desperate candidate for the Mayoral race, the current City Council Speaker from Queens received donations in the sum of $10,000 funded by a SuperPac of casino developers.

Meanwhile, Flushing eyeing for the casino is already recruiting vendors with so many opportunities outlined in the guideline.

Now let's wait in December when the three licenses will be announced.

Many Flushing locals say casino is a win sign for the Mets to go into World Series every year.
