Bikes done now comes gas stations in NYC

It’s pedal time.

According to the NYC Mayor’s Office, 14 gas stations closed and the locations which are now slated for affordable housing developments. Brooklyn is the most affected with 8 kaput as of this year followed by the Bronx and Manhattan. Soon Manhattan will have no gas stations from the current standing of 12 down from 31 in 2017. Already many Queens locations are also facing gas supply shortage due to delivery problems from shortage of tank truck drivers. However suburbs report an increased opening of new gas stations. There are 72,296 gas stations with convenience stores businesses as of 2022, an increase of 2.5% from 2021.
