Big Lots announced store closings in NY

The discount retailer, Big Lots has announced closure of around 40 stores primarily in NY, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

For NY, two locations on Long Island, Carle Place and Centereach.

The Carle Place is located at 260 Voice Road and Centereach at 231 Centereach Mall.

The company stated due to inflation and a possible bankruptcy could be filed based on the standing of 1,425 locations nationwide.

A date of closing has not been announced as of yet.
