Bicyclist struck by vehicle on Union Turnpike

Police are on Union Turnpike near Winchester Blvd in Bellerose reporting a bicyclist struck by vehicle. It happened on the westbound side. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with police. EMS transported the bicyclist to a local hospital. Ongoing investigation.
