Bicyclist struck by vehicle on CIP in Elmont

Police and EMS were on Cross Island Parkway northbound by Belmont Racetrack reporting a bicyclist struck by vehicle. Although no details were provided why the bicyclist was on the highway, he was transported to hospital in serious condition. It happened on Saturday, August 26 around 1:30am. Ongoing investigation.
