Bicyclist struck by vehicle dead in Franklin Square

Police are reporting a bicyclist struck by vehicle at the intersection of Nassau Blvd and Hempstead Turnpike. The bicyclist is now dead from injuries. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police. The intersection is closed. Ongoing investigation.
