Bicyclist struck by MTA bus dead in Woodside

Police reported a bicyclist dead after struck by an MTA bus in Woodside. It happened on September 2 around 11:30pm on 51st Street. Reported the bicyclist was dragged and later died at the hospital. The victim identified as Salvador Chairez-Rodriguez, 50. Ongoing investigation. This is the 11th cyclist died for this year.
