Bette Midler and her foundation is giving away trees

Starting March 1st, New York Restoration Project will giveaway trees and Queens is also part of it. The group's goal is to plant one million trees all over NYC. All you have to do is register and show up with your vehicle. Also, volunteers will advise how to plant and care for them. The non-profit organization started by Bette Midler has been very successful and continue to expand.
