Belmont Stakes to upstate but fair stays in Floral Park

This year's Belmont Stakes will be held upstate at the Saratoga Race Course on June 8 due to construction at the Elmont location. This is their 156th year running the course with horses.

The construction is expected to be completed by 2026 by the same architect company in Australia that did the UBS Arena.

For the local residents, the street fair will continue as usual one day before on Tulip Avenue between Verbena and Plainfield Avenues in Floral Park.
