Bellerose man arrested for homicide on Long Island

The NYPD arrested a Bellerose resident early this morning and charged with a homicide that occurred in Herricks, Nassau County.

This is regarding a female victim who was found dead inside a home last Friday, October 16 afternoon after a wellness check. Both NYPD and NCPD went to a home on 248 Street in Bellerose and apprehended the victim's husband after a lengthy investigation by detectives.

The victim served divorce papers on October 9 and the husband could not take it. Now their three children are without a mother while the father will have a legal battle in court.

The investigation continues.
