Bayside donut shop owner is recovering after shot in Queens Village

Richard Eng, 46 was shot in his parked vehicle on 220th Street and 102nd Avenue in Queens Village. It happened on June 5 around 2:30am. Police reported it was a robbery after Eng's vehicle keys, phone, cash and other items were stolen. Eng is the owner of Black Label Donuts at 39-34 Bell Blvd in Bayside. He is expected to make full recovery. So far no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
