Bank robbery on Oakland Gardens

Police are at 215-16 73rd Avenue reporting a bank robbery. This is at Chase Bank next to the local supermarket in Oakland Gardens next to Bayside. The suspect male white in the late 20s to early 30’s, 6 feet tall wearing gray pants and green hoodies passed a note demanding ransom. Then took off on foot toward 73rd Avenue westbound. A witness stated a dark sedan vehicle was seen taking off.

Police believe this is the same suspect who robbed a bank earlier today in Woodhaven. Around 10:45am, police reported a bank robbery at Queens County Savings Bank at 80-35 Jamaica Avenue.
