Bank robbery investigation in Suffolk County

Police are in Lake Ronkonkoma reporting a bank robbery this evening. The incident was reported at the local TD Bank shortly before closing time in the vicinity of Portion Road. The suspect, male, race not disclosed passed a note demanding ransom. The teller compiled and the suspect took off with the cash.

EMS reported no injuries.

Police are searching for the suspect who took off on foot toward unknown direction.

So far no arrests.
