Bank robbery in Mineola

The NCPD is investigating a robbery that occurred on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:57 am in Mineola.

According to police, an unknown male entered Citi bank located at 250 Old Country Road. The subject approached the teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller complied and the subject fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of US currency.

The subject is described as a male white, 6’0” tall, between 40-50 years old, average build, salt and pepper hair, wearing a black jacket over a black sweatshirt.

There were 6 employees and 1 customer inside the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no reported injuries.
