Bank robberies on the rise in Queens

Police reported so far for today, there were 3 attempts and 2 bank robberies in Queens. The latest one is around 4pm in Ridgewood. This is at 64-01 Grand Avenue, Valley Bank. The suspect, male, light skinned passed a note and took off with cash.

Around 12pm reported at 38-18 Queens Blvd. Police described the suspect as male, Hispanic or White due to being light skinned.

Yesterday around 5pm reported at 28-20 Ditmars Blvd. Police reported the suspect is male, white, in the 50's passed a note and took off with cash.

Also reported 3 robbery attempts after tellers refused to cooperate. All investigations are ongoing.
