Bad accidents in Lake Success and Bayside

Around 11am this morning, a driver lost control and hit a building in Bayside. This is on 26th Avenue by 212th Street.

EMS transported the driver to a local hospital.

The building department is working on the scene.

30 minutes later, another mess resulted on Northern Blvd and Lakeville Road causing long delays especially for people heading to medical offices in the area.

Two trucks were involved along with vehicles in the collison.

Both incidents are under investigation.
