Police are reporting a hostage situation at 141-27 Union Turnpike. A violent EDP has taken a victim as hostage. Police didn't disclose if the EDP is armed. ESU enroute. Union Turnpike westbound is closed. Ongoing investigation. This is across the hotel near Main Street. Update - EDP is in custody. Traffic is clearing. The victim was not injured.
