Starting August 1, McDonalds nationwide will enforce face masks before entering and keep it on while inside when ordering. As for NYC, this is wait and watch for those who doesn't. Some of the franchisees may not be able to afford security due to budget crisis from the pandemic. One example is banks which have closed many local branches in favor of ATM and use main branches for transactions. As for homeless and EDP entering McDonald's especially in Glen Oaks without masks on August 1, the management have not responded on whether to hire security.
