AuSable forks female arrested for CPSP 4th and grand larceny 4th

On May 10, 2025, members of the State Police arrested 23-year-old Mikayla E. Cota from AuSable Forks, NY. She was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.

On May 9, 2025, at approximately 3:42 p.m., Troopers received a report of a larceny incident in the town of Plattsburgh. An investigation revealed that Cota had been using the victim's credit card to make unauthorized purchases at various locations.

Cota was taken into custody and transported to the State Police station in Plattsburgh for processing.
