Assaulted an employee in Commack store

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who assaulted an employee in a Commack convenience store earlier this year.

An employee of QuickChek, located at 6233 Jericho Turnpike in Commack, reported to police he was assaulted by a man on January 5 at 5:24 a.m. The man then stole assorted groceries from the store. The victim self-transported to an urgent care for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
