Assault in Levittown during residential burglary

The Eighth Squad reports the details of an incident that occurred on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 2:30 AM in Levittown.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to a residential home for a possible burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that a female victim, 64, was asleep in her home when she was awoken by an unknown subject striking her in the face with an unknown object. The subject fled scene in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment of her injuries. No further description of the subject is available. The investigation is ongoing.
