Arthur Lopez featured in a documentary

The film, Heroes Behind the Badge : Sacrifice & Survival showed five descriptions where five officers were shot including Lopez who died in October 2012 in Bellerose near Cross Island Parkway and Jamaica Avenue. The 90-minute film was played today at John Cranford Adams Playhouse in Hofstra University. Half of the ticket's revenue will be donated to the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund. It was made by Bill Erfurth, a retired Miami-Dade police lieutenant who saw seven of his fellow policemen killed in the line of duty. The DVD is available at heroesbehindthebadge.com
