Armed suspect on the hunt on Hillside Avenue

Police reported a suspect passed the toll booth without paying inside the subway station at Hillside Avenue and 179 Street.

An MTA booth clerk approached but the suspect took out a gun and threatened by following to the booth. From there, the suspect took off toward Hillside Avenue eastbound.

Police described the suspect as male, black, 40's wearing a navy denim jacket and jeans. Police are searching around the area.
