Armed robbery of a victim while walking in Jamaica

Police reported a male victim, 27 year old, was walking on 90th Avenue and 148th Street in Jamaica on January 21 around 5am when a suspect approached with a knife demanding the backpack. The victim tried to get away and was pushed to the ground. The suspect then stabbed the victim three times in the torso and took off with the backpack. Police described the suspect as male, 6'2". The victim was taken to a local hospital. Ongoing investigation.
