Armed robbery during busy time in Jackson Heights

The NYPD reporting an armed robbery in 74th Street in Jackson Heights. This is near 37th Avenue. Reported multiple suspects, males using a hammer broke the glass window of a jewelry store and removed items. Then took off in a vehicle that was parked next to the jewelry store. Bystanders went for cover for safety.

EMS reported no injuries.
