Armed robbery at a residence in Franklin Square

Police reported a victim was robbed out of his home on Madison Avenue in Franklin Square on December 28 around 11:45pm by two suspects.

The suspects rang the door bell and entered inside with a gun pushing the victim to the room where the safe was.

After they took items from the safe, they took off in a BMW sedan toward westbound Hempstead Turnpike.

Police reported both suspects were between 5'6" and 5'8" wearing dark clothes unable to identify race. Ongoing investigation.
