Armed robbery at a gas station in Valley Stream

The NCPD is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 10:31 pm in Valley Stream.
According to detectives, a male subject walked into the BP Gas Station located at 85 North Central Avenue and approached the store clerk displaying a handgun. The subject proceeded behind the counter and demanded that the employee give him cash from the register. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of US currency, the subject fled on foot towards Stein Street.
There were no customers present at the time of the robbery and no injuries were reported.
The subject is described as a male black, 20-30 years old, approximately 5’7” tall, with an average build and medium complexion. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, black knitted hat, black sweatpants, gloves and a facemask. (From NCPD)
