Armed robbery at Verizon in Glen Oaks

Police are reporting armed robbery at Verizon Wireless at the corner of Union Turnpike and 254 Street. Reported there were two suspects and now police are searching around. One suspect took off toward the coop and the other onto the shopping center. One suspect is described as male, black wearing a mask, blue hoodie and sweatpants. Police confirmed over 50 phones stolen and no injuries to people inside the store. Ongoing investigation.
