Armed robbery at Subway store in North Bellemore

Police are reporting armed robbery at 2741 Jerusalem Avenue inside the Subway sandwich store in North Bellemore. It happened on Monday, January 15 around 9:15pm. A suspect, male, black entered the store and displayed a gun demanding money. The perp took off with the worker's gold chain from neck toward unknown direction. The suspect is about 5'6", thin build and was wearing multi colored ski masks. Ongoing investigation.
