Armed robbery at DD in New Hyde Park

Police closed off the Dunkin Donuts in New Hyde Park reporting an armed robbery. This is on Jericho Turnpike and Covert Avenue. Reportedly, three suspects entered the store early this morning. Then displayed a weapon to demand ransom. The suspects took off with proceedings in a vehicle toward westbound Jericho Turnpike. As of now the store is closed for continuing investigation.
