Armed robbery at Carvel in Bethpage

Bethpage - Carvel store at 4246 Hicksville Road around 10pm, police were called for armed robbery. Suspect entered the store with a machete and took off with undisclosed amount of money. Perp took off in a four door sedan vehicle either tan or silver toward Iris Place. Ongoing investigation. Reported 1pm.
