Armed robbery at Applebee s in Elmont

Police are at 1710 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont reporting armed robbery. This is at the Applebee’s with customers inside. Two suspects entered the location and displayed a weapon. Then took off with cash and other items. This is next to Home Depot. Ongoing investigation. Update - The suspects were taken into custody after search.
