Armed bank robbery in Fresh Meadows

Police are at the Queens County Saving Bank, 61-49 188th Street reporting bank robbery. The suspect is male, black entered the bank and passed a note displaying weapon. Afterward took off in a silver sedan Toyota vehicle toward unknown direction of LIE. The suspect took off with over $50,000 cash. No one was injured. Ongoing investigation.
