Around 3:30pm this afternoon, police reported a driver hit a home in Cambria Heights. This is on 225th Street near 120th Avenue.
When the homeowner came out with shock, all from the vehicle ran away on foot.
Shortly, another one from the crashed vehicle was hiding in the backyard and came out. This is when the homeowner asked why are you removing the plates?
Shortly the next block, all took off in a hailed Uber vehicle toward the northbound according to a witness.
EMS reported no injuries.
Police didn't disclose if the vehicle was stolen.
ESU removed the vehicle.
Ongoing investigation.
